| Who Are We? Classis Grand Rapids East is a group of 15 Christian Reformed churches in southeast Grand Rapids. The purpose of Classis Grand Rapids East is to be a community of congregations that are encouraging, equipping, and challenging one another to be vibrant and missional. This website is a virtual community of the 15 congregations of Classis. To submit content click here. Classis Renewal Classis Grand Rapids East is engaged in a Clsssis Renewal process to assess what we are and what we want to be. Representatives from each congregation met several times to think about our community of churches. A summary report on the process is available for review. Ministry Guidelines were approved in May 2009. Expectations of congregations are outlined in this letter.
